Acquired torticollis is not a separate disease rather warning sign of an underlying disorder. The etiology in children quite wide. Hematogenous osteomyelitis the first cervical vertebra (the atlas) extremely rare and potentially dangerous pathology. aim to acquaint physicians different specialties with condition – acute hematogenous atlas. Case Report. A case 7-year-old boy presented. An important torticollis. Conclusions. atlas Regardless its incidence, it must be considered when examining child acquired wryneck.
